Accounts Payable Clerk
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a luxury retailer on as 12-month fixed term contract. You will be joining at an exciting time being a key member of some of the projects they are looking to roll out. This is a hybrid role with the expectations of 3 days per week in the office.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be working alongside a team of 20. The team are working on multiple projects which will allow plenty of opportunities to gain exposure and systems experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with opening new vendors
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up the purchase order for new vendors
- Assist with requesting and chasing new suppliers’ bank details
- Ensure invoices are sent out to the business for approval
- Adhoc finance duties as required
Skills required:
The successful candidate will be available on short notice with 1-2 years’ experience in AP. Dynamics or COUPA experience is desirable but not essential. Softer skills required would include being a team player, proactive in their approach and having desire to improve processes.
