An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing global luxury gallery on a contract basis with potential to be made permanent. This role working for an industry leader has been created as part of their growth plans. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, 4 days a week in office with great flexibility alongside this, initially on a 3 month basis
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be an integral member in the Finance team in a highly progressive environment. This company operate with a people first approach for all that they do and place emphasis with collaboration with frequent socials.
Responsibilities include:
- Matching incoming AR payments to sales invoices and updating sales software
- Sending out notifications once AR payments are received
- Posting AR receipts to accounting software Reviewing and processing expenses including credit card reconciliations
- Reviewing incoming sales orders and preparing sales invoices
- Conducting regulatory AML due diligence checks on new clients
The successful candidate will 2-3 years knowledge of AR process in a multi-entity and currency environment. Being an AAT studier would be highly beneficial. Experience with multi-currencies with good excel are desirable. Softer skills required would include being able to communicate with non-finance stakeholders, being proactive in nature with a pragmatic approach and the ability to build relationships with clients.
