An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a booming beauty brand in the heart of the West End in Central London. This role sits within a small finance team and serves as the right-hand to the Finance Manager.

You will be responsible for transactional finance, month-end duties, with the opportunity to progress rapidly into management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Management of the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with the payment runs
• Management of sales ledger, including raising sales invoices, taking payments, and credit control
• Resolving queries and investigating discrepancies
• Responsibility for the month-end end including accruals, prepayments and journals
• Assisting (with eventual responsibility) of balance sheet reconciliations
• Adhoc project reports, tasks, and financial duties

Key Requirements:
• Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Strong experience in transactional finance
• Exposure to the month-end would be beneficial
