JasperRose is partnering with a global retail brand, that is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team in Central London (hybrid, 3 days in the office), on a permanent basis. Working for this international brand, this is an opportunity to work in a highly strategic and commercial role where you will be influencing senior stakeholders across the division.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will take ownership of one division/revenue stream within the UK region and will manage a team of 2. You will work as the key business partner to the Directors of the division, supporting with strategic analysis and driving profitability across the region. There will be a significant focus on strategic projects, and you will be involved in presenting performance updates to senior management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders including the Managing Director for the region, attending monthly meetings to present risks and opportunities
  • Owning the P&L and overseeing the monthly reporting process for the UK region
  • Preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, presenting these to stakeholders including the Managing Director for the division
  • Management and development of 2 direct reports
  • Overseeing the preparation of the weekly trading report
  • Managing strategic projects including one specifically focused on CAPEX for the division
  • Supporting with the implementation of a new ERP system and enhancements on TM1 and Power BI

 

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Masters equivalent with commercial finance/FP&A experience working for a global consumer business (ideally retail/FMCG). You must have experience partnering with senior stakeholders, owning the budgeting, and forecasting for a region/division, and providing strategic analysis. The ability to own the full P&L is key as well as knowledge of key retail KPI’s is essential. Experience managing is preferred, or you will be looking to step up into your first management role.
