Finance Business Partner
This is an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing property developers in a permanent role which has arisen due to an internal move. Having been acquired in recent years, the business is well-backed and has doubled in revenue over the past 2 years, they plan to double again over the next 3-5 years, making this a great time to be joining the business.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and will work as the lead Finance Business Partner to one of the divisions. This is an extremely commercial role where you will own the financial modelling and analysis for new sites to aid decision-making for the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with the regional finance teams and non-finance stakeholders, supporting them in commercial decision-making for new sites
- Financial modelling to provide sensitivity and scenario analysis to the division to support with investment decisions
- Preparing financial forecasts for new sites
- Monthly preparation and review of projects including delivering stakeholders with updates on project costs
- Working with the Head of Finance to look at ways to drive process improvement across the finance function to support the non-finance stakeholders further
Skill set required
The successful candidate will be newly qualified, and finalist candidates with the right experience will be considered. You will either be looking for your first move into industry having worked in practice or will have worked in industry in a commercially focused role where you have worked closely with non-finance stakeholders. Strong Excel skills are key for this role, ideally, you will have strong financial modelling experience. Personality is key for this role; you must be a confident communicator with the ability to present to and challenge senior stakeholders.
