Finance Manager

JasperRose is partnering with a scale-up, consumer tech business that is looking to hire a Finance Manager in what is a newly created role, working in their London Head Office one day per week. The business is a pioneer in the technology space and having received $1 million in investment, they are on an ambitious growth path and are looking to double in headcount in the coming year.
Reporting to the CFO, this is a newly created role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the financial controls and operations. You will manage one direct report and will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the founders of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing robust financial controls to facilitate growth across the business
- Supervising and developing one direct report
- Production of P&L across multiple revenue streams
- Ownership of the management accounts, month-end reporting, and VAT
- Partnering with senior stakeholders, providing them with business insights for commercial decision-making
- Management of the cashflow forecasting & treasury
- Revenue reconciliation work
- Drive process improvement and automation across finance.
Skill set required:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience working for a fast-growth scale-up business is preferred
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage the month-end, management accounts, and financial controls
- Experience working for a subscription business is preferred but not essential
- Desire to improve existing processes and automate finance
- Revenue reconciliation experience is strongly preferred
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide strategic insights to the leadership team
- Ability to take accountability for your work, take initiative, and drive excellence
