A fast-growing, founder-led Media Agency is looking to recruit a Finance Manager into a broad, hands-on role with real ownership and visibility. This position has been created to bring core finance activity in-house and support the next phase of growth across a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Based in London with flexible hybrid working, this role will suit a commercially minded Accountant who enjoys operating across the full finance lifecycle, from day-to-day operations through to leadership reporting, audit coordination and process improvement. There is clear scope for progression as the business scales, including the opportunity to build and lead a finance team over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of monthly management reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and insightful commentary.
  • Manage end-to-end finance operations, including AP/AR, reconciliations, payments and cash management.
  • Lead audit preparation and act as the main point of contact for external advisors.
  • Support investment and growth initiatives through financial analysis and due diligence.
  • Oversee payroll, VAT and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, controls and automation to support scale.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership, translating financial information into commercial insight.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Strong hands-on experience in a small to mid-sized business or growth environment.
  • Comfortable owning the full finance function with minimal hierarchy.
  • Solid understanding of UK statutory, tax and payroll requirements.
  • Confident communicator, able to work closely with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised and adaptable in a fast-moving setting.
