Group Financial Accountant
A Private Equity-backed, international Consumer brand is recruiting a Group Financial Accountant (ACA) on a permanent basis, based in their London Headquarters. This is an opportunity to work for a brand that has achieved record-breaking sales in the past 2 years and is looking to expand further internationally, with 50 planned site openings over the next 12 months.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be working in a direct team of 5, sitting in a much wider finance team of 50+. The role will manage one Part Qualified Accountant and will take ownership of the consolidation of the group accounts, across international entities.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of the UK and international subsidiary statutory accounts
- Management and development of one direct report (Part Qualified Accountant)
- Taking ownership of the consolidation of group accounts across 8 international entities
- Preparing monthly board packs for review by senior management
- Working as a key point of contact for the auditors at year-end
- Supporting with the weekly cash flow reporting and FX transactions
- Assisting with a variety of finance projects including improving the efficiency of existing processes and systems
Skill set required:
The successful candidate will be a 2023/2034 ACA Accountant from a Top 10 Practice. You will have experience auditing consumer clients and auditing the group consolidation for international entities. Personality is key for this role, they are looking for someone who is bright, ambitious and has a desire to progress quickly in a fast-growth brand.
