Interim Systems Accountant
Interim Systems Accountant | Hybrid – South London | 1 day a week in London office | Media | 6 month contract
We’re working with a fast-paced media business looking for an Systems Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a broad finance role where you’ll be supporting core processes and helping the team stay on top of reporting and reconciliations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Running the accounts payable process end-to-end: invoice handling, payment runs, and supplier queries
- Posting journal entries and ensuring financial data is accurate and compliant
- Carrying out bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies
- Supporting month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
- Keeping the general ledger up to date and accurate
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in a finance role such as Assistant Accountant or Accounts Payable
- Studying towards or qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar
- Confident using Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc.)
