Management Accountant
JasperRose is partnering with a £20 million turnover fashion retail brand, which is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team, based in London (3 days per week in the office) on a 3-month contract. The business has become a well-known brand, doubling its turnover in the past 3 years, with no signs of slowing down.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will support with year-end as well as take ownership of the month-end and management accounts. You will support with overseeing the accounts payable function as well as driving process improvement across the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts and associated analysis
- Management of the month-end processes
- Playing a key part in the preparation of the year-end accounts
- Driving process improvement and implementing efficiencies within the finance
- Supporting with overseeing the accounts payable and receivable function
Skill set required
The successful candidate will be a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with experience preparing management accounts and month-end. You will either have retail industry knowledge or Netsuite knowledge. Experience working for a SME business of a similar size is preferred but not essential. To be considered, you must be on less than 2 weeks notice. You will be hands-on with the ability to get involved with a variety of tasks and will also feel comfortable supervising the accounts payable function.
