Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Live Events Sector | London | 6 Month FTC | £65,000 – £75,000 | JRSO34378

An established organisation in the live events, entertainment and digital media sector is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a 6 month FTC contract with opportunity to go permanent. The role requires sector experience, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple revenue.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
• Oversee AR/AP processes, including invoicing, cash allocation and query resolution.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support audit requirements.
• Manage revenue and settlement reconciliations, including stock and income postings.
• Drive process improvements, automation and stronger financial controls.
• Support payroll processing and cashflow forecasting.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver clear commercial insight.
• Support and develop junior finance team members.

Key Requirements

• ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
• Strong management accounting experience in multi-revenue or operationally complex businesses.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear insight.
