We are working with a leading British consumer brand, based in Central London, to hire a Reconciliations Team Leader due to the company’s rapid growth in the market. This is an exciting time to join the business as it is set to go through a new phase of growth by focusing internationally and on its online offering. The Team leader will manage a team of 4 on a day to day basis and support the Manager with ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, supporting and developing a team of 4 to 5 to ensure workload has been delegated, improve the productivity of the team and handle any issues in a timely manner
  • Checking the team’s work who will be reconciling over 50 accounts on a daily basis across the banks and online revenue streams
  • Liaise with other departments and the banks to investigate and resolve any areas of concern
  • Provide reports for cashflow forecasting, month-end close and ad-hoc
  • Highlight accounts that are incorrect or have unallocated payments
  • Suggest process improvements that can be implemented across the wider finance team

We are looking for independent, ambitious and hands-on people managers who have a passion for leading a team. You will have previous experience of working within a retail or multisite environment and have strong transactional finance skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to have previously managed at least 1 member of staff and have a willingness to roll up your sleeves, get into and question the detail.
