An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable focused Senior Accountant to join a listed retailer permanently. This role works in a growing environment that places people first with expectations of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
Details of the role:
Reporting to Transactional Manager you will be an integral member in the Finance team in a highly progressive environment. As you pursue your studies you will have the opportunity to expand your duties and have a clear path to progressions.
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating and implementing ways to improve collections and manage debt
- Implement process and systems improvements
- Take ownership of the Accounts Receivable cash application process
- Ensure all variances are reconciled
- Collaborate with stakeholders, support audits, and improve processes
- Produce ad-hoc finance reports as required
- Support in the month-end process Management Accounts and monthly reporting pack
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the AR process and has prior experience in month-end deadlines. Experience with SAP would be advantageous. Softer skills required would include being proactive with a pragmatic approach and the ability to build relationships within the team.
