The Equality Act of 2010 defends 9 protected characteristics, which are: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are considering your requirements, try to think about characteristics that describe your ideal employee, that don\u2019t discriminate against protected characteristics. It may be a good idea to explain why you gave the answers that you did, so that your ideal employee is as clear as possible.
